Restoration of hydration

Bee pollen is rich in vitamins A, C, D and E. It contains 22 amino acids, 27 mineral salts, hormones, carbohydrates and more than 5,000 enzymes. It is an effective potent antibiotic, anti-itch and anti-inflammatory agent.
Honey contains 90% -95% carbohydrates (fructose, glucose, maltose, etc.), which have dermal affinity to the skin and therefore become part of the skin, reinforcing its ability to retain moisture.
Royal Jelly is the secretion product from the salivary glands of worker bees and the exclusive food of Queen bee.

It contains 17 amino acids, abundant levels of B vitamins and minerals, making it one of the most powerful nutrients nature can offer. Imagine Queen bee lives for several years while worker bees only have a life-span of 6 weeks, due to her sole consumption of royal jelly. Ideal against skin aging and inflammatory skin conditions, while it stimulates cellular renewal and the promotion and synthesis of collagen and elastin for firm, more toned skin with a smoother appearance.

Hyaluronic Acid is the most powerful moisturizer and humectant known so far, with the ability to hold 500 times its own weight in water. It is responsible for tissue hydration, lubrication and stability.

Oat contains a variety of active ingredients including beta-glucans (responsible for water-holding functions), phenols, starch, savenacins, saponins, flavanoids, and also vitamin E. Additionally, oat soothes stressed, blemished and irritated skin.

Illite clay pulls and draws impurities from the pores, and can be used for both dry and oily skin, because of its ability to restore skin’s natural pH balance. It stimulates skin’s blood circulation, aiding thus many types of skin conditions including acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea.

Allantoin topically empowers lymphatic circulation, allowing better nutrient absorption and decongestion of lymphatic circulation.

Honey

In ancient Crete, according to myth, Amalthea was the nurse of Zeus during the years he was growing up hidden from his father Cronus in a cave. The goat Amalthea suckled the infant Zeus and, together with the mountain-nymph Melissa, aided in the eventful birth and upbringing of the greatest of the Twelve Gods of Olympus, so that he would grow up to claim and attain his authority as ruler of the cosmos. When Cronus became aware of Melissa’s role in preventing his murderous design, he changed her into an earthworm. Zeus then, took pitty on her and transformed her into a beautiful bee. Recent developments in DNA analysis have indicated that honey was an essential part of ancient Cretan’s nutrition, and it was the only known sweetening substance for many centuries.

The Ritual

Mix approximately 1 tsp of the powder with water or other base of your preference (i.e. gel, serum, cream) to create a smooth paste with velvety texture. Apply on the entire face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10-15 min. Rinse with warm water. For external use only.
